Scholarships to support young men
The Dafydd Lewis Trust provides equity and merit-based scholarships of $10,000 a year for three years to young men who might encounter challenges in engaging in a University education due to the limited financial resources of their parents. Multiple scholarships are awarded every year for full-time undergraduate degrees in most courses at any university in Victoria.
Who’s eligible for the scholarship?
A recipient of the scholarship must have attended a Victorian state school or college for at least five consecutive years immediately prior to being awarded the scholarship. Exceptions may apply for holders of humanitarian visas.
Applicants may not be older than 19 years of age (i.e. not yet 20) on 1st January 2022. Exceptions may apply for holders of humanitarian visas.
All applicants will need to complete a means test to be eligible.
Students can intend to study any degree offered at any university in Victoria, with the exception of Arts, Education, Music & Theology, excepting those students who wish to undertake the arts course for the purpose of gaining entry to a course which was previously offered by the institution as an undergraduate degree but is now only offered at postgraduate level.
